New product release - Mr Percival

Mr Percival (1976 - 2 September, 2009) was an Australian Pelican, noted for his appearance in the 1976 Australian film Storm Boy. He was one of three trained pelicans used in the film, based on the novel of the same name. He lived at the Marineland aquarium until it closed in 1988, then at the Adelaide Zoo. Mr Percival, whose zoo name was Gringo, fathered seven chicks with his partner Alto, the last in 2007.

He died of old age on 2 September 2009

This was the inspiration for the naming and creation of this kit. I had been on holidays on Kangaroo Island, off the coast of South Australia and I've not ever seen so many pelicans in one place and I knew I had to work them into a kit somehow. Also one of my favourite stories as a child was Storm Boy....so the kit was born.

***PLEASE NOTE*** Mr Percival was originally a Facebook Fan Page freebie. If you have already downloaded this via the NutkinTailz Designs fan page then please only purchase the ADD-ON pack or you'll end up with some duplicate papers and elements and you don't want that.

Both kits are reduced 30% until midnight

Sunday 12th April.

You'll find both kits HERE

It is no longer a Fan Page Freebie but I have a new one that you can find here
